One of AAPEC’s objectives is to improve clinical practice for women who are at risk of, who have or who had preeclampsia. To enhance clinical practice though we need evidence. So we would like to share a research opportunity with women who had high blood pressure issues during pregnancy.
Researchers at the University of Newcastle are conducting an online, anonymous survey to understand women’s healthcare journeys following a diagnosis of chronic hypertension, gestational hypertension and/or preeclampsia.
You are eligible to complete the survey if you’re a woman over 18 years old who have had a blood pressure issue during pregnancy from as far back as 2017, who were cared for and gave birth in Australia, and who are still living in Australia.
This research aims to understand women’s perspectives about how they were looked after once they left hospital.
To thank women for their survey completion, they can opt to go into the running to win one of 10 $200 gift cards, to be used at select clothing, beauty, and homeware stores around Australia and online! This voucher can also be used at hotels.com for a vacation!
Please check out the survey below…
